Fit Teachers Today: A Fit Nation Tomorrow
In a significant initiative to champion educator wellness, Chakra Dialogues Foundation (CDF), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Delhi RESOURCES, organized a comprehensive Free Health Camp exclusively for the teachers and staff of DPS RK Puram on 26th April 2025. This endeavor aimed to recognize and support the vital role educators play in shaping the nation by prioritizing their health and well-being.
Over 150 educators availed themselves of comprehensive health screenings and consultations provided by some of the country's leading medical institutions: Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC), Akash Hospital, Centre for Sight, and Clove Dental.
Participants benefited from a wide range of health services, including: Mammography, Clinical Breast Cancer Detection, Pap Smear Test, Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Testing, Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Body Mass Index (BMI), X-ray, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Oral Cancer Screening, Neuropathy Screening, Eye Testing, Dental Check-up, and General Health and Diet Consultations.
Mobile diagnostic vans were stationed on-site to provide easy access to mammography and X-ray services.
The success of the Health Camp was a testament to the collaborative spirit of all stakeholders. DPS RK Puram's team, CDF representatives, and the visiting medical experts ensured that all arrangements — including private consultation spaces, registration desks, medical infrastructure, and hospitality services — were efficiently managed.
This initiative emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and empowered educators with critical health insights. It reaffirmed CDF's ongoing commitment to fostering wellness and supporting the community's backbone — its educators.
