KRANTII was founded by Wg Cdr Satyam Kushwaha (Retd) in 2016 as a collaborative platform aimed at inviting diverse perspectives from the public, industry leaders, and policymakers to enhance the quality of policies related to the National Geospatial Policy. Over the years, KRANTII has expanded into 119 groups covering 63 verticals, with the core mission to "Make India Great".

By fostering collaboration among like-minded Indians, KRANTII focuses on strengthening Nation-Building and protecting National Interests. Discussions within KRANTII are undertaken in an open, multi-disciplinary environment, offering a comprehensive 360 degree perspective on complex and intertwined multi-dimensional issues. This dynamic capability was exemplified during the devastating second wave of COVID-19 when Wing Commander Satyam mobilized a dedicated team within KRANTII to provide critical support to affected families across the country.
