"From Awareness to Action: Dismantling Rape Culture" is a key initiative by the CHAKRA DIALOGUES FOUNDATION (CDF) and KRANTII. Held on August 18, 2024, Episode 1 featured a panel of experts across law, medicine, and academia. The event aimed to explore and address rape culture, with insights from Lieutenant General Vinod G Khandare and Wing Commander Satyam Kushwaha. Moderated by Ms. Nimisha Pandey and concluded by Ms. Shalini Khanna, the session focused on actionable solutions for societal change. The speakers shared valuable insight on the current situation of the nation in the fight against rape and came up with actionable points to have an impact in society. The session was flagged with the address of Lieutenant General Vinod G Khandare, which was followed by the insightful value additions by Wing Cdr Satyam Kushwaha (retd), Founder of CDF and director of Indian Space Association. The closing remarks were provided by Ms Shalini Khanna, Head- Outreach and Communication at CDF, and the session was moderated by Ms Nimisha Pandey, intern at CDF.
