ARYABHATTA@50 - Satellite Model-Making Competition

Satellite Model-Making Competition Aryabhatta@50 was a national STEM initiative organized by GuruKool Academy in collaboration with Chakra Dialogues Foundation to celebrate 50 years since the launch of Aryabhata, India's first satellite. The one-day Satellite Model-Making Competition saw participation from over 200 school teams across India, featuring models made entirely from recycled materials. Aimed at students from Classes 6 to 12, the event promoted creativity, scientific thinking, and sustainability. Highlights included a pre-event guest lecture series by ISRO scientists, hands-on model exhibitions, and presentations judged on innovation, scientific accuracy, and teamwork. The initiative successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world applications, encouraging eco-conscious innovation and inspiring young minds to explore careers in space technology and engineering.
